ICFOSS in association with iNCAETEK is organising a Product Development session using free CAD across all the districs in Kerala for imparting skills in Product Design & development in Engineering Education.

Programme Objectives:

1. Product Development using FreeCAD is aimed for students, who are interested in Idea generation, CAD modeling and Product Design.

2. Participants are expected to gain knowledge of available FOSS CAD tools and basics steps in Product Development. The participants will also be aware of the current practices followed by the industry and the ways to secure a Career on the PD industry.

3. Successful completion of the session also opens up the wide opportunities offered by the Product Development world and interesting participants can also launch their own startup or work as a freelancer.

Duration: 6 hours over one day.

Eligibility criteria for Product Development using FreeCAD:

Students interested in the field of FOSS and Product Development using Free CAD.

Domain of the program:

Product Development (PD) using FreeCAD consists of Idea generation and Engineering design by FreeCAD (Computer Aided Design) along with concepts of New Product Development (NPD)
