ICFOSS is pleased to announce an Certificate program in “Machine Learning through FOSS” (Offline), from 2nd November 2024 to 30th November 2024. The proposed program is a drive to improve the technical capabilities of upcoming engineers towards Free and Open Source Technology.

Objectives:

This Certificate program is centered around Machine Learning (ML) using free software tools, aimed at cultivating a strong enthusiasm for open source technologies among participants. Spanning 5 days (only on Saturdays, 6Hrs/Day, 30 Hour Training), the program provides extensive practical training in a variety of Machine Learning techniques and features. Additionally, it emphasizes the cultivation of creativity and the sharpening of problem-solving skills essential for Engineering Technology and Scientific Research.

Participants will acquire dedicated live support from experienced mentors at ICFOSS, ensuring comprehensive guidance throughout the program. Progress will be evaluated through assignments, simulation test and project.

• Introduction and Course overview, Python For Machine Learning, Numpy Pandas & Data Preprocessing, Linear regression & Logistics Regression, Naive-Bayes & SVM, Decision Trees Random Forests, Ensemble Techniques ,Bagging ,Boosting, K Means Clustering, Model Evaluation & Performance Metrics, Streamlit Deployment - Regression /SVM/ Random Forest/K means, Project Discussion, Neural Networks Basic Concepts, Neural networks from scratch & using Libraries, Popular frame works :Pytorch /Tensorflow, Solving Image classification Problem.

Target Audience:

• Students (pursuing Engineering or BSc degrees in fields such as Computer Science, Electronics, Data Analytics, Physics, Mathematics and Statistics etc) Faculty, Professionals and Others in the field of Science and Engineering.

• The number of participants for the proposed program is limited to 30 nos per batch.

Certification Criteria: Certification will be issued to participants who qualifies with:

• 90% of attendance

• 50% marks in Examination

• 50% marks in Assignments

• 50% marks on Project
