ICFOSS organizes a 30 Hour long online certification programme in “Engineering with Python”. The training is scheduled to be held from 21^st August 2024 to 10^th September 2024. The proposed Certification Programme is a drive to improve the technical capabilities of upcoming engineers towards Free and Open Source Technology. Over the span of 15 days (30 hours in total, 2 hours per day), this course offers hands-on experience in intermediate Python programming.

Objectives:

The Certification Programme is designed to significantly enhance participants Python skills through the utilization of free software, thereby fostering a deep appreciation for open-source tools. It also cultivates creativity and problem-solving abilities in Engineering Technology and Scientific Research. Guided by seasoned professionals from ICFOSS, participants will receive live online assistance to successfully navigate the assigned tasks. Progress is assessed through simulation tests, and participants execute designated projects.

• Basic data types, Operators, Operator and Conditional Statements, Looping Statements, Break and Continue statements, Range functions.String functions, Conditionals and Boolean expressions, Strings, Tuples, Lists, Dictionary, Set, Files and Text Processing, Regular Expressions, Exceptions and Error Handling, Functions, Object-Oriented Programming in Python, Numpy and Pandas, Seaborn and Flask.

• Online examination and Project Presentation.

• The number of participants for the proposed programme is limited to 50 numbers per batch.

• Students, Faculty & professionals in the field of Science and Engineering.

Certification Criteria: Certificates will be issued to participants who qualifies with:

• 80% of attendance

• 50% marks in Online Examination

• 50% marks in Assignments

• 50% marks on Project Presentation
