Under the Student Ambassador activities, an Orientation on FOSS was conducted at Govt. Engineering College Iduki on 9 October 2015, The programme was mainly aimed at the students of third, fifth and seventh semesters of IT and CSE Departments of B.Tech and the first semester students of M.Tech. The Orientation Programmes mainly focused on the FOSS philosophies and the benefits of using FOSS in the real world scenarios. More than 90 students from various semesters and departments participated and shown interest to join in FOSS communities and to participate actively in FOSS Cell activities in college.
